Maxim Wines is a start-up, boutique wine brand from Hawke’s Bay. The dream was to become a premium and elegant brand that stood out in a crowded market of boutique wine labels. The brief was to create a brand that produced small batches of honest, handcrafted wine, specialising in lesser-known wine varieties. Maxim Wines are wines that are an honest expression of where they’re from and how they’re made, Wines that speak the truth. Each wine produced has a maxim on the label that speaks to how the wine came about. I created the name, brand story, packaging copy and launch marketing material.
